My name is Stefan Cruysberghs and I live in Flanders (Belgium). I am a professional and passionate software developer. I love photography, walking and hiking in nature, traveling, observing wildlife, discovering other cultures and practicing some sports.

When I was 12 years old I started programming with GFA Basic on my Atari computer and a few years later I started giving IT trainings to children and adults in my computerclub VJI. I’ve been developing on the Windows, Web and Mobile platform for almost 20 years. I like setting up frameworks and coaching colleagues. I am a Microsoft MCP and MCTS since 2010. I have a lot of experience with software architectures, UI design, patterns, continuous integration, unit testing, web services, reflection, Delphi, Visual Studio & Team Foundation Server, C# & .NET, Silverlight, Entity Framework, LINQ, WCF, TPL, RIA & WebAPI services, Azure & Management libraries, TFS API, Office automation, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, PhoneGap, PHP and databases like SQL Server, MySQL en Oracle. My current interests are learning as much as possible about Azure, Xamarin, Angular, VSTS, … I also enjoy attending VISUG and Belgian MSDN events and conferences.

I am one of the main developers of the innovative BRINGME box and related mobile apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. The server logic of this smart box where parcels can be delivered or picked up is developed in .NET and is hosted on Microsoft Azure.

I have a website www.scip.be which I use to publish articles, components and photos. My website provides several RSS feeds but I like the features of the WordPress blogs. That is why this blog mainly contains links to the articles on my personal website. If you are interested in photography, please take a look at my portfolio at 500px or at my website www.scip.be

These articles and blogposts are about the technical challenges I face on a day to day basis and the research/study I am doing in my free time. All posts and articles reflect my personal opinion. Maybe some information is irrelevant, inaccurate or boring but I try to do my best and I hope that some of this information can speed up your developments or improve your development skills. Ideas, remarks, suggestions, … please let me know.
